Our Department
The Department of
Chemical Engineering at Texas A&M University is one of the
largest, fully accredited programs in the country. Read
more about our reputation and view our 2011
annual report.
Texas A&M boasts some of the brightest Chemical Engineering
students in the country. Getting into the undergraduate and graduate
degree programs grows increasingly difficult as the quality of the
candidates keeps growing every year. Besides classroom instruction,
many outlets exist for real-world experience such as research
opportunities, internships, and co-op education.
Our faculty are engaged in a wide breadth of research ranging from highly
applied research in areas of biomass utilization, process safety,
and hydrocarbon processing to very fundamental research in
nanotechnology, life sciences, and molecular simulation.
We are located in the new Jack E. Brown Engineering
Building on the Texas A&M University campus in College
Station.
